Advanced Beginner 1 Online French Group Classes
You can handle the basics. Now it's time to tell your story. This 8-week live course is for learners who have completed Beginner 2 or already have a solid A1 level and are ready to move into A2 French.
You’ll learn to tell fuller stories about your past, describe people and places with greater precision, talk about your feelings, work, and everyday life, and use pronouns more naturally as you speak. Each week combines grammar, pronunciation, conversation, and French culture, so you’re using new French from the moment you learn it.
This class is taught live by Marie-Lola in a small group, with selected sessions featuring Cécilia for additional work on pronunciation and culture.

Why You'll Love These Classes
1️⃣ Your French gets more personal
At this level, you’re ready to say more than the basics. Advanced Beginner 1 gives you the language to tell fuller stories, describe people and places with greater precision, and express yourself with more confidence. As your French grows, you’ll speak with greater ease and begin to sound more like yourself.
2️⃣ The Speaking Lab
Every session ends with a dedicated 30-minute Speaking Lab, where you put that week's French into conversation. Many schools sell conversation as a separate class, we build it into every session, so you're using what you just learned while it's still fresh. No new grammar, just time to speak, get feedback, and let French start to feel natural.
3️⃣ The Hello French Method, taught live
This course follows the Hello French Method, developed by Cécilia and Marie-Lola through more than 25 years of combined teaching experience. Grammar gives you structure, pronunciation helps you communicate clearly, and culture gives the language meaning.
4️⃣ Learning continues between sessions
Your live class is one part of the learning experience. Inside your private learning portal, you'll find interactive practice, lesson recaps, listening activities, vocabulary review, and cultural resources connected to what you're studying — helping French become part of your week.
