Intermediate Conversation Group Classes
You know enough French to get by. Now it's time to actually speak it.
This 8-week live conversation class is for anyone between B1 and B2 who wants to practice speaking French in a real, dynamic group setting. Each week centers on a new theme: food, travel, emotions, relationships, culture, and more. We explore it through conversation, vocabulary, and expressions you'll actually use. Grammar is not the focus. Speaking is.
Led live by Marie-Lola, in a small group of up to eight students, each session gives you the space to use your French, make mistakes, and keep going.

Is This the Right Level for You?
This class is a great fit if you can already talk about your daily life in the present tense, describe past experiences, and talk about plans or the future. That puts you somewhere between B1 and C1, which is exactly who this class is designed for.
You do not need to be advanced. You just need to be past the very beginning. If you are still building your foundational grammar, our Beginner classes are the right starting point. If you want a more structured grammar progression alongside conversation practice, consider our private lessons.
Not sure about your level? Take our free French Level Test. It only takes a few minutes and will help you find the right fit.

Why You'll Love These Classes
1️⃣ Built for Speaking, Not Studying
This is not a grammar class. It's a dedicated space to practice the skill most French learners have the least of: actually speaking. Every session is structured around conversation, so you leave having used your French, not just reviewed it.
2️⃣ Taught Entirely in French
From the very first session, classes are conducted entirely in French. No translations, no shortcuts. You'll learn to think in French, and that's what makes the difference.
3️⃣ A Proven Method, Taught Live
This program is built on a teaching method developed by Cécilia and Marie-Lola, drawing on over 25 years of combined experience and thousands of learners reached through books, videos, and online programs. The live classes are led by Marie-Lola, following this established approach.
4️⃣ Learn Beyond the Classroom
You'll have access to a dedicated learning portal with session recaps, vocabulary lists, cultural resources, and conversation prompts. Learning continues well beyond class time.

Her teaching is guided by curiosity, connection, and creativity. She focuses on helping students build confidence while engaging with French culture through language, music, literature, and everyday communication. Outside the classroom, Marie-Lola enjoys reading, dancing flamenco, and discovering hidden gems in local bookstores.
