Beginner 2 Online French Group Classes
You've got a foundation. Now it's time to use it. This 8-week live course is designed for learners who have completed a beginner course (A0-A1 or Beginner 1 at Hello French) and are ready to start navigating real French situations with more confidence. In a small group of up to eight students, you'll move from knowing the basics to actually using French: ordering food, asking for directions, handling everyday interactions, and talking about past events.
Led live by Marie-Lola, with occasional support from Cécilia, each session builds on the last with grammar, pronunciation, and cultural context woven throughout.

Is This the Right Level for You?
Beginner 2 is a great fit if:
- You've completed a beginner French course (A0-A1) or Beginner 1 at Hello French.
- You can introduce yourself, use basic present-tense verbs, and handle very simple exchanges. You're ready to move beyond survival French into everyday communication. You feel solid on the basics but not yet comfortable in real-world situations.
- If you're starting from zero or remember very little French, Beginner 1 is the right place to start. If you already feel comfortable holding basic conversations and using the passé composé, but aren't quite ready for an intermediate (B1 level), we recommend our private lessons, which are tailored to your level and goals, or checking back as we open additional group levels.
