Le Bouquin is a modern, elevated French-language resource for beginners.
Cécilia Jourdan co-authored Le Bouquin (French slang for 'book') with a fellow French instructor, Marie-Lola Sendra, to fill the gaps in most French educational materials: books so grammar-focused, they often become both impractical and boring. Similarly, many books for beginners can feel like they were designed for children! And we noticed that inclusive language is often lacking in these books—which is why we strive to represent all people in Le Bouquin.
